Our Learning Groups

Explorers (5-8 years)

Our Explorer’s Group is designed for our youngest learners as they embark on their journey of discovery and exploration. Here, we create a nurturing environment where children can freely engage with the world around them, cultivating their curiosity and wonder.

Adventurers (9-12 years)

This Group focuses on project-based, collaborative learning, encouraging students to explore and apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. As they engage in hands-on activities, they will also take on leadership roles by sharing their discoveries and guiding younger students, fostering a strong sense of community and responsibility.

Our programme runs from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00.

Benefits

Language Integration

Our program emphasizes bilingual development, with English as the primary language and Portuguese as a secondary language. To support this, we offer weekly classes designed to enhance Portuguese language skills.

Basic English knowledge is encouraged for participation, ensuring a smoother transition into the group. For children joining without prior English proficiency, the first year focuses on English language learning.

Intimate Learning Groups

We maintain a maximum class size of eight children per tutor, experienced in alternative education.

This personalized approach allows for tailored instruction and support, fostering meaningful relationships between students and educators.

Additional Family Support

Our tutors actively foster social and emotional intelligence through a variety of on-site strategies and everyday interactions, helping children build self-awareness, empathy, and positive group dynamics.
We collaborate with Mara Nóbrega, a children’s psychologist available for consultation when additional individual or family support may be beneficial.

Our team also offers consultancy on homeschooling curricula and can provide information on the legal aspects of homeschooling (without offering official legal advice).

In addition, we cultivate a supportive parental community, where families can connect, share experiences, and support one another throughout their homeschooling journey.
